Fair Use Rationale[edit]

  • This painting is needed to visualise a style mentioned at length in the article, referred to as a combination of cubism and futurism.
  • The work is low resolution, and is in no way suitable for reproduction
  • Vorticism remains one of the less well known 20th c movements, and a visual example is needed to help educate and illustrate this important historic movement.
  • Few works survive, and this is often considered the most important example, along with Bomberg's Bathers.
