Summary

Description
English: This enamelled metal badge dates from the mid-1930s when the school was on its original premises. Measuring around 35mm in diameter, it came with three lugs on the back, to be sewn onto the school uniform. The front depicts the school crest based on images of growth and industry (mining and textiles) with the motto "Carpe Diem" ("Seize the Day").
