Summary

Description

Test image, based on the ward map of Bristol to demonstrate various permutations of stripes for multi area wards (see w:Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Politics of the United Kingdom#Maps).

Political colours are those for the Conservative, Labour, Liberal Democrat and Green Parties.

Variations displayed:

  1. Single party wards
  2. Two party wards with equal representation
  3. Three party wards with equal representation for all parties
  4. Four party wards with equal representation for all parties
  5. Two party wards with 2:1 representation (eg two Tory and 1 Labour councillor)
  6. Three party wards with representation in ratio 2:1:1. This is shown in two variants, one with a thick line for larger party and two small lines for the others, and the other with equal sized lines with colour alternating between larger and smaller parties
