English: Ven. U Paññya Jota Mahathero (a former Senior Assistant Judge) is very famous and well known Theravada monk in Bangladesh. He was born in Royal Bohmong family at Bandarban, Bagladesh. He served Bangladesh Government as Judge about 8 years.
He became Buddhist monk in 1991. He is founder and chief priest of: 1. The World Buddha Sasana Shevaka Sangha, Bangladesh 2.
