English: The U.S. Navy light cruiser USS Providence (CL-82) underway in the Mediterranean Sea. She was deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet in the Mediterranean from 23 September 1948 to 14 January 1949, before she was decommissioned on 14 June 1949.
