English: Tom som (Thai script: ต้มส้ม) means "sour soup" in Thai. This version is called tom som kraduk mu: "sour soup with pork ribs". Tom som can be made with a multitude of ingredients, meats as well as seafood, and vegetables. The souring agent used in tom som is, depending on the ingredients, lime juice or tamarind.
