Drawing by George Sharples (active 1815-1823), the item is a nineteenth century English engraving of Sharple's drawing, published as an engraving in circa 1821, shortly after it was drawn by the artist, appears frequently throughout the net. Engraved by Hopwood, Sharples, the artist, died in 1849 Both William Hopper and William Hopper the Younger died by 1850.
