Description
English: Base and shaft of stone cross at the junction of Cross Hill and High Street, Gringley-on-the-Hill, Nottinghamshire, seen from the south. The cross was restored for the Millennium. A plaque on the steps of the cross states that a market charter was granted to the village on 2 November 1252.
