Other versions Image Description: North German Lloyd cargo ship TS Nabob ~ ex HMS Nabob (D77). The ship was built in the United States as the Bogue-class USS Edisto (CVE-41) (originally AVG-41 then later ACV-41) but did not serve with the United States Navy ~ view from the starboard bridge wing on the foredeck with open hatches 3, 2 and 1 - Starboard deck and on deck house port workers in their responsible, non-hazardous work. - In addition to starboard deck numerous wooden hatch covers, hatch beams and dunnage. - Luke 2 abeam called on both sides of logs (logs) lashed Deck Cargoes with wires and turnbuckles. - Front in Luke 1 on starboard more hatch covers on the port side was a large quantity of boards known as the Garnier (base and separation) for other cargo such as crates, boxes, barrels, etc., bagged goods needed in the cargo holds. - Continue in the image countless wires, ropes, slings, preventer, guys, blocks and ropes which are all for a smooth loading and unloading operations required on a cargo ship of that time. - Further structural requirements including not only the derricks of course the cargo winches besides winchdrums are like the backstays and turnbuckles to give the mast support and various cargo space ventilation is referred only in passing. - On the pier next to port waste, old pallets and long iron in bundles also transport vehicles and forklifts. - A typical "port-setting" of the time that has been seen in most of the major ports in the world quite similar.
