The Bible Institute campus is in Kalk Bay, a small fishing village on the False Bay coast in the greater Cape Town peninsula. The name is afrikaans for Chalk bay. The coastline is known as a whale watch area, particularly the Southern Right Whale and is home to many species of shark, notably the Great White Shark as well as Cape Fur Seal and African (Jackass) Penguin colonies.
