Description
English: Théâtre de la Gaîté on the Boulevard du Temple. This building was designed by the architect Bourla after the fire of 1835 destroyed the previous theatre. The new construction incorporated an iron frame. The theatre relocated to the Rue Papin in 1862 during Haussmann's modernization of Paris.
