Description
Deutsch: Taufe Jesu im Jordan, Holzrelief, wahrscheinlich 17. Jahrhundert, aus der Dreifaltigkeitskapelle in Mulheim-Kärlich, seit 1999 Pfarrkirche St. Mauritius. Es wird angenommen, dass das Relief aus dem Kärlicher Schloss stammt und nach dessen Zerstörung 1794 ein Johann Vogt es besaß. Des Weiteren wird vermutet, dass Vogt 1801 eine Kapelle bauen ließ, um das Bild darin aufzustellen. 1963 wurde das Kunstwerk aus der Kapelle gestohlen und vier Jahre später wiedergefunden.
