Deutsch: Südwestansicht der Türnitzer Hütte auf dem Gipfel des 1372 m hohen Türnitzer Höger und auf dem Gemeindegebiet der niederösterreichischen Marktgemeinde Türnitz. Die Hütte wurde als 1. Schutzhütte vom „Niederösterreichischen Gebirgsverein“ errichtet und nach zwei Jahren Bauzeit am 1. September 1895 feierlich eröffnet. 12 Jahre nach der Eröffnung erfolgte ein Zubau für zwei Schlafräume. Am 24. März 1921 übernahm die St. Pöltner Ortsgruppe des Österreichischen Gebirgsvereins die Hütte in treuhändischer Verwaltung. 1933 erfolgte ein zweite Zubau mit einer Skiablage und einem Wirtschaftsraum. 1980 wurde zur Hüttenversorgung eine Materialseilbahn gebaut mit Talstation im Kräuterbachgraben. Im Jahr 2000 wird eine neue Küche sowie ein neues Schlaflager für die HobbywirteInnen errichtet und im Jahr 2001 feierlich mit einer Bergmesse eröffnet und gesegnet. Außerdem erhält die Hütte mit einer kompletten Lärchenverschindelung ein völlig neues Außenkleid. |
