- Because the scan was cut off at the bottom, where copyright marks may have been, a search was done for possible renewal in books/contributions to periodicals and artwork for the years 1956 and 1957. RKO had only a new registration for the year 1956 in these areas- an ad placed in Dell Publications' magazines for its then-current film The Conqueror. No renewals were listed.
- The then-existent copyright(s) for The Film Daily covered the magazine's editorial content only-not the ads placed in it.
