Description
English: On the grounds of the St Peter Regional Treatment Center and residing in the old 1866 administration building of the "Minnesota Hospital for the Insane", the St Peter State Hospital Museum showcases the history of Minnesota's first and oldest state hospital which opened in 1866 to serve the mentally ill and mentally ill and dangerous. Exhibits also display the history of Minnesota's state hospital system. Site Address: 100 Freeman Drive, St. Peter, MN 56082.
