Nederlands: De zeeslag bij Livorno op 14 maart 1653 tussen de Nederlandse vloot onder bevel van Jan van Galen en de Engelse vloot onder Sir Appleton. Op de voorgrond de mast van een gezonken schip en zeelieden in een sloep en in het water. Boven de schepen donkere rookwolken. Links in de verte de kust bij Livorno.
