English: Sir Robert Hart Memorial School, Charles Street, Portadown. This school was named after Sir Robert Hart who was born in Portadown in 1835. He spent most of his adult life in China as Inspector General of the Chinese Imperial Maritime Customs from 1863 - 1908. He died in 1911 and was buried in the graveyard at Bisham on the bank of the River Thames.
