Rationale[edit]

This is the photo of tankers and infantrymen from the Sassuntsi-Davit Tank Regiment, many of the members of which are now dead, rendering the obtainment of a free replacement image difficult, if not impossible. No free image was found through the good-faith effort. The image is of extremely low resolution and is near useless for copying. It is widely spread on the internet and in no way affects anyone's ability to make profit. Therefore, it is asserted that the usage of the picture in the WP article for the informational purposes by the non-profit WMF falls under both the FU exemption of the US copyright law as well as the narrower FU policies of the English Wikipedia
