English: The main staircase in the covered courtyard at Salem City Hall in Salem, Oregon. The building is part of the Vern W. Miller Civic Center, which is a complex of buildings, including a branch of the public library, a police station, a fire station, and the city hall (pictured here). It is work of brutalist architecture completed in 1972.
