Summary

Description
English: A variant of the SM2 machine gun modified for special purpose as a coaxial gun. The stock is removed and the trigger mechanism is changed to the rear of the weapon as in the M2 Browning. Like the V1 variant, the SM2-V2 has an effective distance of 1000 meters and uses a linked belt system. However, this variant has a higher rate of fire of 700 to 1200 rounds per minute.
Bahasa Indonesia: Varian senapan mesin SM2 yang dimodifikasi untuk kebutuhan khusus sebagai coaxial gun. Popor dihilangkan dan mekanisme picu dirubah ke bagian belakang senjata seperti pada M2 Browning. Seperti varian V1, SM2-V2 memiliki jarak efektif 1000 meter serta menggunakan sistem link belt. Namun, varian ini memiliki rate of fire yang lebih tinggi yakni 700 sampai dengan 1200 peluru per menit.
