English: Ramona Lee Etta Barnes (née Wheeler; 1938–2003) was an American politician. Originally from Pikeville, Tennessee, Barnes moved to Anchorage, Alaska when her husband was stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base and they later settled there. Barnes represented east Anchorage as a Republican member of the Alaska House of Representatives for ten terms (1979–1985 and 1987–2001) and was the body's first female speaker.
