McKean Historical Notes, by Fred G. McKean, published in 1906, in Washington, D.C., USA. The illustration appears on page 30. This image was previously published in The Clan Donald, volume 1, by Angus MacDonald and Archibald MacDonald, published in 1896, in Inverness, Scotland. The caption of this illustration in The Clan Donald reads: "Reverse Side of the Seal of Reginald". No caption is given in McKean Historical Notes.
