Description
English: The coat of arms of the Cenade commune, according to annex no. 1.1, consists of a blue triangular shield with rounded edges. Inside the shield, in a blue field, is a gold wheat ear and a gold flute, crossed, located below a gold cross. The shield is stamped by a silver mural crown with a crenellated tower. The meanings of the summed elements: The cross refers to the faith of the inhabitants and to the Church of Cenade from the XVth century, fortified in the XVIth century and declared a historical monument. The whistle and the ear of wheat represent the basic occupations of the inhabitants, agriculture and livestock farming. The mural crown with a crenellated tower signifies the fact that the locality has the status of a commune.
Română: Stema comunei Cenade, potrivit anexei nr. 1.1, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular albastru cu marginile rotunjite. În interiorul scutului, în câmp albastru, se află un spic de grâu de aur şi un fluier de aur, încrucişate, situate sub o cruce de aur. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat. Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate: Crucea face referire la credinţa locuitorilor şi la Biserica din Cenade din sec. al XV-lea, fortificată în sec. al XVI-lea şi declarată monument istoric. Fluierul şi spicul de grâu reprezintă ocupaţiile de bază ale locuitorilor, agricultura şi creşterea animalelor. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
