Description

Diagram of British QF 3 inch Mk I (12.5 lb) Shrapnel shell and cartridge, 1914.
As used by QF 3 inch 20 cwt anti-aircraft gun.
The propellant charge is 2 lb 7 6/16 oz of Cordite M.D., Size 11.
Total weight of complete cartridge is 20 lb 11 oz 14 drams.
