English: Preserved Routemaster bus RML2278 (reg. CUV 278C) pictured at the bottom of Haymarket in London, heading south. It's running along the route of London Buses route 159 as a private vehicle (ie not in passenger service), one of several doing the same to mark the last day of non-heritage Routemaster operation in London. For this it wears a special Routemaster 1955-2005 The End route destination and a white advert on its side from the Routemaster Association, which says "Say Goodbye To Your Routemaster Buses 1955-2005". It's preserved in the London Buses white stripe/orange roundel livery and black route branding it wore as a pre-privatisation London Buses vehicle with the introduction of route 23, in 1992. The livery was short lived, with the post-privatisation CentreWest, and later First London, liveries being applied (but retaining the black route branding)
