Description

Pasquale Amato's April 16, 1914 Victor Records recording of the Te Deum from Giacomo Puccini's Tosca. Sung at the end of Act I, this scene in fact details the evil priest Scarpia's plans to corrupt and have his way with Tosca, while the chorus goes about seeking redemption.
