Summary[edit]

This image shows an example of a scavenger resin. The spherical portion is analogous to a polymer bead and the benzaldehyde functional group is bound to this bead. This particular scavenger resin is called PS-benzaldehyde. It will react with and scavenge most nucleophiles; including primary amines, hydrazines, and other reducing agents.Jherion (talk) 02:18, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
