English: Pennsylvania Railroad class R1 electric locomotive in its official portrait by the Pennsylvania Railroad. This image is public domain in the United States because it was published in "Pennsy Power", a book that was not copyright renewed after 14 years and thus fell into the public domain. It may or may not be public domain elsewhere depending on the intricacies of international copyright law. Those countries that respect the copyright term of the originating country may consider this public domain.
