This image is important as it shows in an easily accessible form what scientists hope for and expect from this planet - a habitable moon.
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	Exoplanets generally have illustrations made once and then never again, making it unlikely that an illustration of this planet will be made until we actually go there (which will be in a long time indeed).
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	The file will only be used once at most in articles relating to Kepler-86.
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2)	The file was made by a university student and was credited to the institution, a nonprofit organization with no commercial interest in the work.
