English: The human spirit is ready for its journey through the underworld. There, the person's heart will be judged by the person's good deeds on earth. If the heart is found to be pure he will be sent to live for all eternity in the beautiful 'Field of Reeds', or possibly sent to Ammit.

In the three scenes from the Book of the Dead, the dead man (Hunefer) is taken into the judgment hall by the jackal-headed Anubis. The next scene is the weighing of his heart, with Ammut awaiting the result and Thoth recording.
