This photograph was no later than 1888, and shows the front of King Edwards VI School Five Ways on the north side of Hagley Road, near its junction with Ladywood Road (now known as Ladywood Middleway). This location is now the site of the dual carriageway as it joins the west side of the major roundabout at Five Ways. The photographer was John Collier. |

This photograph was published in Birmingham Faces and Places Volume 1 No. 4 on 1st Aug 1888. The photo was attributed to local Birmingham photographer John Collier who died in 1910. Therefore, the copyright expired at the end of 1980 and the image is now in the public domain |
