English: The first motion picture studio in Hollywood was built by David Horseley for Christie Film Co. The building is at the corner of Sunset Blvd. and Gower Street. In this photograph taken in 1911, no signs are visible anywhere on the building. An automobile is parked outside on Gower Street, visible at right.
