Français : Diplomate bilingue chevronné (ministre plénipotentiaire) et universitaire accompli, M. Maurice Kamga a une expérience de plus de 25 ans dans la pratique et l’enseignement du droit international, en général, et de la justice internationale, en particulier. Ayant consacré une part substantielle de ses travaux de recherche au droit international de la mer, notamment après avoir été désigné, en 1994, neuvième lauréat de la dotation onusienne Hamilton S. Amerasinghe pour le droit de la mer, il a pu acquérir une expertise désormais confirmée dans ce domaine très technique du droit international, particulièrement en ce qui concerne la délimitation des frontières maritimes. Ses fonctions actuelles de Secrétaire de la Cour internationale de Justice, où il travaille depuis une douzaine années, sont pour lui l’occasion de mettre cette expertise en pratique. |
