English: This is a public housing complex in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico which was imploded July 25, 2011. While it was supposed to be vacant when this photo was taken in September of 2010, there was still evidence of squatters (view original size to look at balconies). I took a photo of the site several months after the demolition, which can be seen here: Las Gladiolas.
The complex consists of 4 high-rise buildings - two of 19 floors, and two of 17 floors. There were over 650 low-income units across all buildings.
An interesting (yet biased) documentary about the complex and the expulsion of residents exists on YouTube (in Spanish):
