Summary

Description
English: This is the Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato. The supercar maker has teamed up with Zagato to create the celebratory one-off car, marking 95 years of the Italian coachbuilder. The tie-up between the two Italian brands goes back to 1965, with the new 5-95 recently showcased at the 2014 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este in Italy.

It’s based on the now-redundant Gallardo LP570-4 – Lamborghini’s most successful ever model, now replaced by the Huracan – but wears a bespoke body featuring a double-bubble roof and floating front bumper, which takes inspiration from the 1996 Diablo-based Lamborghini Raptor Zagato.

The extensive use of glass creates a wraparound windscreen, resulting in a pillar-less cockpit style body. The side intakes have also been adopted from the Raptor, with air scoop on the roof another signature Zagato design cue.

The Lamborghini 5-95 will join other collectable and one-off Zagato models such as the 1990 Alfa Romeo S.Z. and 1993 R.Z, 1985 Aston Martin V8 Zagato and 2012 V12 Zagato. No performance or engine details have been revealed yet for the 5-95.
