Summary

Description
English: Tile used on the Japanese Building of the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition 1876. A set of these same tiles was used by architect Frank Furness in Fryer's Cottage in Cape May, New Jersey. This particular tile (about 2' by 2') was bought for Fryer's Cottage and kept as a spare - an almost identical tile is still on the building.
