English: Medal of Honor earned by Isaac Gause.
This medal contains the following words: "The Congress to Corporal Isaac Gause, Co. E., 2d Ohio Cav. Vols. for Gallantry near Berryville, VA., September 13, 1861." It was given to Corporal Gause on the recommendations of Generals Wilson and McIntosh.
