Summary

Description
English: Hurricane Irma at peak intensity nearing its first landfall on the island of Barbuda at 02:25 UTC on September 6, 2017. At the time, maximum sustained winds were 180 mph (295 km/h) and the pressure was at 916 mbar (27.05 inHg), making it the most intense Atlantic hurricane since Hurricane Wilma in 2005.
