Summary

Description
Frysk: De Jehannes de Dopertsjerk yn it Grinslânske doarp Huizinge is in romanogoatyske tsjerke út de 13e iuw. De rûne apsis, dy't ferdield wurdt troch lisenen mei in rûnbôgefries en rûne nissen oan de boppekant en spitsbôgige finsters mei in kraalprofyl dêrûnder, makket fan de tsjerke ien fan de moaiste foarbylden fan de romanogotyk yn Grinslân.
English: The Jehannes de Doperstjerk in the Groningen village of Huizinge is a Romanesque Gothic church from the 13th century. The round apse, which is divided by liscons with a round-arched frieze and round niches at the top and pointed-arched windows with a bead profile below, makes the church one of the finest examples of Romanesque Gothic in Groningen.
