Description
English: Histopathology of irritation fibroma on the lower lip, H&E stain, with characteristic[1] features: Low magnification (left) shows a non-encapsulated nodular mass covered by squamous epithelium. High magnification (right) shows fibrous connective tissue with collagen bundles, with some with fibroblasts and blood vessels. It often also displays scattered chronic inflammatory cells.

The squamous mucosa displays non-specific vacuolization in this case.
