English: The Ikara was a ship-launched, anti-submarine missile which was designed and built in Australia and was in service from the 1960’s to the 1990’s. It had a range of 10 Nautical miles and reached a top speed of 443mph. They were fitted to the Royal Navy’s Leander-class Frigates, as well as serving with the Navies of Australia, Brazil, Chile and New Zealand.
