This image is of a cover of an audio recording, and the copyright for it is most likely owned by either the publisher of the work or the artist(s) which produced the recording or cover artwork in question. Fair use in article Freak Show (album)[edit]

Although this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the United States fair use laws because:

• It is a low resolution copy of the original CD single's cover.
• Use of the image does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the single in any way, but in fact may encourage sales.
• Because of its low resolution, copies of it could not be used to make any illegal copies of the image.
• Its sole use is to identify the CD in question within the article.
• The image is significant because it was, and is, used to promote the recording.

Image Source[edit]

• The image was derived from digital capture (photo/scan) of the CD single's cover art. The creator of this digital version is irrelevant as copyright in all equivalent images is still held by the same party. Copyright is held by the record label, Murmur Sony. Claimed as fair use regardless.
