English: Preserved former North Australia Railway NF class 2-6-0 locomotive displayed at Pine Creek
This narrow-gauge locomotive of the North Australia Railway is stated by some railway historians as probably being NF5 – formerly South Australian Railways W class W53, built by Beyer, Peacock and Company (builder number 1717) about 1877. The uncertainty derives from the occasional practice of changing locomotive plates: this locomotive is known to have carried the plates of NF2 (formerly SAR W13 – Beyer, Peacock no. 1715).
