Summary

Description
English: The camera looks down towards several women working on the rooftop of the Y.W.C.A.'s Hotel Figueroa. The women stand on wooden platforms and ramps at center as they bring wheelbarrows of concrete to their work area. A few women stand near the roof's edge. Immediately behind them, an American flag rises from the corner of the building. In the background, downtown Los Angeles sprawls into the distance.
