Español: Estatua del Coronel José Antonio Remón Cantera, quien fue Presidente de la República de Panamá y en su período se promulgó la ley No. 44 de 28 de diciembre de 1953, que cambia a la Policía Nacional a Guardia Nacional, procediendo a estructurar un plan de modernización que incluía el envío de oficiales a especializarse fuera del país., bajo e lema "Todo por La Patria". Por ser parte de la historia de la Policía Nacional, surge la iniciativa de ubicar la estatua en la parte frontal de la Sede de la Policía Nacional de Panamá, junto al asta donde es izada la Bandera Nacional, en posición de saludo hacia el emblema patrio. |
