Observation Notes: This little mushroom is about one and a half centimeters tall. It was growing from the ground in deep shade under maple. This was a fortuitous find. I stopped for a drink of water, and when i set my pack down I noticed this little guy. No others like it were growing in the vicinity. I’m thinking Entoloma, but it’s so tiny.
