Summary

Description
English: A Douglas DT-2 torpedo plane (BuNo A6425) at the Langley Aeronautical Laboratory at Hampton, Virginia (USA). The DT-2 flew as "NACA 11" and was built in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA), by the Naval Aircraft Factory. Langley's NACA staff studied the take-off characteristics of a twin-float seaplane with this aircraft.
