Summary

Description
English: Dix's Field Exeter Close to the centre of Exeter just off Southernhay, the road is named after William Dix who was born in 1729. He leased or sold the sites in 1796 on which these houses were built to his own design. The name of "Dix's Field" still applies to the two rows of brick houses, which are opposite the Civic Centre.
