Summary

Description
English: DiCamillo Bakery, 5329 Main Street at North Long Street, Williamsville, New York, August 2020. With the cornice returns framing the frontal gable, the shallow pitch of the roof, and careful façadal symmetry, this c. 1840 building is an excellent example of the Greek Revival style that was one of the most popular of its time. The building has served a number of commercial functions over the years, but is most notable historically as the blacksmith, carriage and wagon shop operated by James Gottlieb Rumbold (1830-1896) in the middle 19th century. Current tenant DiCamillo Bakery has been in business since 1920, when its main location in Niagara Falls was founded; its Williamsville branch opened in 2006.
