Українська: Деубіквітинування білків.
Мутовані, надлишкові, пошкоджені білки деградують у клітині за допомогою протеосомної системи деградації. Такі білки несуть специфічну мітку - ланцюжок з білка убіквітину, за допомогою якого і розпізнається протиосомною системою. Але інколи убіквітин приєднується до білка помилково. У такому випадку спрацьовують деубіквітинуючі білки, які від"єднують убіквітин, шляхом руйнування ізопептидних зв"язки. Таким чином, деубіквітинуючі білки можуть рятувати білки від деградації чи змінювати їх локалізацію в клітині. Розробка механізму регулювання убіквітинуючою, деубіквітинуючою системою лежить в основі створення нових препаратів для боротьби з раком. А - убіквітинований білок (білок іде на деградацію в протеосомну систему) В, D - деубіквітинування білка з повним відщепленням убіквітину, білок повертається до нормального функціонування С,Е - деубіквітинування білка з частковим відщепленням убіквітину, залишки декількох молекул убіквітину може спричинити зміну локалізацію білка в клітині чи подальшу лізосомну деградацію.English: Deubiquitination protein.
